Best review of Twilight I have ever read
10:39 AMOK, so I happened across this review of twilight the other day and I just loved it and could totally relate to it! And guess who it was by? One of my favorite authors ever, drumroll please:
Rick Riordan!!!
If you don't know; Rick Riordan is the #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, among others.
I know I got off topic, but here is a quote of the review:
" I'm a sucker for a good vampire story, so I wanted to see what all the buzz was about. The story was a page-turner: regular teenage girl falls in love with a guy who turns out to be a vampire. I thought the writing needed some editing. If the girl's heart skipped a beat one more time or the vampire smiled his "perfect crooked smile" I was going to fling the book across the room. But hey, I kept reading to see what would happen next. I'm sure the book will be popular. It would make a good movie."
Though I'm not the biggest Twilight fan out there, I could totally agree with what he said about how the book needed some editing or, in my opinion, a thesaurus for new words to use in place of 'murmured'.
Happy Reading,
The Bursting Bookshelf
P.S. Don't forget to check out Rick's new book coming out on October 12, The Lost Hero.
