Follow my Book Blog Friday and Book Blogger Hop!

So Follow my Blog Friday is a meme held by Parajunkee and it's where you answer the weekly question and then link yourself and you go and check out other blogs of your interest.
Q. In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?

My favorite story that revolves around the fae is most definitely The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. TEAM ASH!

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy For Books made to help showcase your blog to other bloggers out there with the same interests!

When did you realize reading was your passion and a truly important part of your life?

I have always read a lot by choice, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I REALLY began to read A LOT. As for blogging/ getting my voice out there, that was last summer that I realize it was something that I would want to do.

  14. I love Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series too! She's such a good writer and all her characters are so easy to love, and I especially like how she uses characters from A Midsummer Night's Dream!

But no worries; as much as I think Puck is hilarious, I'm still Team Ash all the way ;)

Hope you have an awesome weekend!

I have loved reading since I was little. I've always had a full bookshelf. When I was little, I saved up my allowance to buy my first bookshelf! hehe. Best thing I ever bought...besides the books! :)

  20. When did I first realize I loved reading? I wish I could prove a pre-natal predilection towards books but my memories don’t stretch back quite that far.

The earliest memories I can recall involved books. First having them read to me then reading them on my own the minute I had the ability.

Books have been a major part of my life ever since. My passion for the written word knowing no bounds, I started writing books on top of reading them about ten years ago.

Want to know what my favorite childhood book was? Hop on over to my blog and find out: http://www.howardsherman.net
