Review:
After quite enjoying the first book in this series, I had to read the next one right away! I have to say, I quite enjoyed it. I liked seeing Stefan in love with someone else other than Elena. I found the idea so immensely intriguing that I read through this book in a day, and loved every minute of it. This book takes place directly after Origins leaves off, with Stefan and Damon leaving town to avoid getting caught by the townspeople of Mystic Falls. The characters relationships get tested to the max and many lives are lost in the process. Of course this cover is also my favorite of the series, mainly because of who is on it. The plot was fast paced and had an ending that left me craving the next in the series. All and all, this was an excellent second book in the spin off series of my favorite ever TV series. 4/5 for sure!
