Top Ten Tuesday
11:51 PMTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly post prompt created by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's prompt is books with sensory memories. I really related to this topic as I tend to remember exactly where I was when I first read my favorite books!
The Martian
I first read this book in my third year of university. It had been a long time since I had read a good book and I can still remember staying up well past midnight just to finish the book.
Ready Player One
I read this book this year for the first time. I was on holiday in Mexico and I remember just forgetting the world around me as I got into the world of the Oasis.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
I first read this book with my dad as a kid. I can remember begging to stay up later to read just one more chapter in Harry's story.
The Fault in Our Stars
This was the first John Green book I ever read. I read it all in one sitting and sat against my bedroom door so no one would come in while I finished the book.

Harry Potter is definitely addictive! I didn't read the series until I was an adult, but can certainly relate to wanting to read just a bit more. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

The book is so, so, so good!
DeleteI love the image of you sitting against your bedroom door so no one could interrupt your reading!
ReplyDeleteIt happens way too much ahaha
DeleteI like that... sitting with your back against the door so nobody would bother you! If only all books were that good!
ReplyDeleteI've only ever read TFIOS by John Green. I did pick up his latest novel, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'll read it. Time will tell. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a surprisingly fast read
DeleteTFioS was the first John Green book I ever read too! I remember crying quite a lot at the end. XD
