Oriana is a beautiful name.
I found this to be a very tricky question too. Thought as i start commenting on other blogs in this hop I keep coming up with new name ideas. Karou meaning hope is a good name, from daughter of smoke and bone.

Oriana is beautiful!!! I can see how it can get stuck in your head. None really stuck out for me except for Black Dagger Brotherhood and Dark Hunter series (both adult). Nothing YA is really sticking right out now, except maybe Aislinn but she just annoys me :)

I agree--sometimes a simple name works for that character (not necessarily because the character is simple or anything). It just works. I am thinking Anna from Anna and the French Kiss. I don't know that Oriana and the French Kiss would have worked as well for me. :)

Ooh, I haven't read it but Oriana is a good name. I can already conjure up a character and I haven't a clue what the book is about >.< I love the unique names in books because they do stick with you. I know if I write a book I hope that my characters will be able to do that.
