Follow Friday

So Follow my Blog Friday is a meme held by Parajunkee and it's where you answer the weekly question and then link yourself and you go and check out other blogs of your interest.
Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?
Aside from how awesome they are? (John Green, I'm talking to you!) I'd also tell them just how much I admire and appreciate all the work they put into their books for their readers. Also, I'd like to tell them to continue writing for as long as possible; I don't know what I'd do without the great books they write!

It is as simple as that, I believe. Some authors really changed my life with only one story, one book. And sometimes I forget how big of a loss it would be having to live without that one book - or never having read it in the first place!

Perfect! A wonderful answer. So many books mean so much to me. I would honestly be a different person without them.

It's so true! Somedays I have to remind myself how much writing a book is a labor of love--all the long hours and months upon years of work. I get so caught up in more more more or the next book in the sequel, which is a compliment because it means I love their work, but I should try to show them how much I appreciate them more often! Hopefully my blog does some of that.
