Review:
Prom and Prejudice was a book that had a colourful cover that caught my eye and had some very positive reviews going for it as well. So when I picked it up from the library, I knew I was in for a good ride. When I first started reading I immediatly fell for the characters and their personalities, but not always their decisions. In fact, my only problem with my the book was the poor decisions that many of the characters made. Apart from all of that, I loved the style of writing and the underlying tone of the classic Pride and Prejudice story. At times the story became predictable, but not too often. Overall, I think that Prom and Prejudice was a good, fast read that makes me really want to read Pride and Prejudice. It gets a 4/5.
After winter break, the girls at the very prestigious Longbourn Academy become obsessed with the prom. Lizzie Bennet, who attends Longbourn on a scholarship, isn’t interested in designer dresses and expensive shoes, but her best friend, Jane, might be — especially now that Charles Bingley is back from a semester in London.
Lizzie is happy about her friend’s burgeoning romance but less than impressed by Charles’s friend, Will Darcy, who’s snobby and pretentious. Darcy doesn’t seem to like Lizzie either, but she assumes it’s because her family doesn’t have money. Clearly, Will Darcy is a pompous jerk — so why does Lizzie find herself drawn to him anyway?

Review:
First off, I would just like to point out the fact that Nicholas Sparks books never fail to make me cry. That also never fails to get me weird looks. Never the less, The Last Song was another epic love story with a bittersweet ending that will keep you up thinking about it for nights. The writing in The Last Song was fantastic, gripping the reader's emotions with a titanium fist, never once letting go. The storyline moved quickly, but you never felt like you lost out on anything with this stand alone book. The characters were young compared to ones of previous Nicholas Sparks novels I've read, as Ronnie and Will are just done high school in this book. I also adored the supporting characters of The Last Song and the effects that they had on the story. This book gets a 5/5 for sure for being my favorite Nicholas Sparks book so far. I can't wait to read many more of his awesome books in the future.

All was perfect in Julia’s life until Nicholas had his vampire blood-lust activated by his mother Alora, her immortal enemy, turning him evil and bent on revenge. Heartbroken and out of choices, Phil and Julia ran away in the middle of the night, with Scarlett on foot, to Orange County to warn and plead Nicholas’ Godfather for help. Once arriving at Harry’s though, the local coven accosted them and they narrowly escaped.
After they returned home, there was a huge showdown between Phil, Nicholas, Scarlett, Alora, Katie and Julia.
